Are you wondering
what it might be like
to explore together?

Here's a bit about what you can expect ...


I understand that you want to feel supported
  as you navigate through the confusion that is life.  You want to accomplish wonderful things.  You want to solve the problems that are keeping you stuck. 
But ... you don't want your unique edges to be sanded down in the process of making changes.  And you especially do not want to be pathologized, or labelled.


On the surface, your struggles may seem to resemble everyone's struggles --
  • crappy situations
  • difficult relationships
  • unwanted cravings
  • isolation
  • procrastination
  • fears
  • anxieties
  • phobias
  • confusing life-transitions
  • stuckness
  • the blahs
And I can help you with stuff like that.


But, your struggles are not just the same as everyone else's struggles ... your struggles are also diff'rent from other people's struggles.

Why?  Because since you are smart, creative, sensitive - and maybe even a bit quirkitudinous - sometimes your traits have a way of intensifying your troubles.   (Like when you over-think things, or vividly imagine worst case scenarios, or struggle with perfectionism.)


Perhaps you've been wishing you might find a coach, or a counselor (I call myself a life sherpa) who gets all that.  Someone who understands your individual needs as well as your individuality.  Someone who appreciates and respects you without being intimidated by your talent or intelligence or independence.   Someone who can lend a hand on your transformational journey.





I know that even though your big concern may be called by the same words as someone else's big concern  (like "driving phobia,"  "chocolate-craving,"  "anxiety,"  "procrastination")  the way your issue plays out in your life is unique to you. 


With that in mind -- knowing that the following words and phrases are a bit abstract -- here is a brief list of some of the problems that I can help you overcome:

  • blocks & impasses

  • low self-esteem

  • phobias -- including fear of flying, fear of public speaking & test anxiety
     
  • addictive cravings for people, behaviors, food & cigarettes

  • overweight & over-eating

  • crappy body image

  • emotional aspects of pain, illness, allergies & fatigue

  • relationship struggles

  • sexuality hang-ups

  • shaming or critical inner voices

  • persistence of heartbreak, grief & loss

  • after-effects of trauma & abuse

  • confusing life-transitions
(I guess it's not surprising that my clients tell their friends that I'm the person to see if you have more than one kind of issue!)
